As we are getting closer to the summer, it’s time to plan ahead and get prepared for the warm, sunny days and beach trips! The summer is my favorite time of year and I can finally get back to wearing what I love: swimsuits! I have pulled together my favorite ten swimsuits from Free People that will get you through the summer of 2024.
One of my favorite things about swimsuits is that, if you take care of them, they last. I wear my swimsuits year after year. This makes buying a swimsuit so much more impactful for me. I know it is not a short-term purchase, but an item I will use over and over again. Because of this, I am willing to spend more money on a quality swimsuit and prefer them to items that are of lesser quality and will wear out sooner.
Free People has been a go-to for me for years now. As someone whose style lends to relaxed, casual, and beachy vibes, I always find things I love there. Swimsuits are no different for me. I can always find items I love (and of good quality) at Free People. For the summer of 2024, Free People is our go-to swimsuit retailer and I have pulled together my top ten items. I hope you love them!
- Rhythm Wave Break Underwire Bikini Top: This is my favorite bikini for this summer! I have it in the Pistachio color and it is a gorgeous green. This is the bikini I am wearing in the picture above. I had a baby 14 months ago and am still breastfeeding and this bikini gave me great coverage, support, and the necessary freedom to breastfeed when I needed to. It is a great swimsuit and I am considering getting it in the Island Flower color, too.
- The Backless One Piece Swimsuit: There’s nothing I love more than an open back, and this one is perfect if you’re looking for a little more coverage in the front with a bonus of an open back. A great swimsuit for the days you are doing any water activities or need a little more security with your swimsuit.
- free-est Dylan High-Waist Bikini: If you are someone who loves a high-waisted bikini bottom, this one is for you! It is a gorgeous high-waist bikini in a lovely neon orange (with lots of other color options to choose from as well). There are beautiful details throughout to add flare to a somewhat simple style.
- Toast Signature Knot Bikini Top: This is the bikini that is next up on my list to get! It is another style that goes with the casual and relaxed styles I love and it is available in so many color options, so there is something for everyone with this one! The bottoms are so cute with an added knot twist on the sides.
- Rhythm Terry Tri Bikini Top: If you are looking for a more retro style, this terry bikini is for you. An adorable retro print with a full coverage bottom and a classic triangle top, this is a great option.
- Slate Swim Ryder One-Piece: You can never go wrong with a classic black swimsuit. This one-piece has great coverage with the added feminine flair of a tie on the back. This is a beautiful swimsuit for any occasion.
- Stone Fox Paola Macrame Tube One-Piece: With a tube-top style and a beautiful island-vibe print, this one-piece is so beautiful! It is perfect for lounging in the sun.
- FP x Mare Perpetua August Printed Underwire Bikini: This is a beautiful bikini with an underwire top to provide extra support. With ties on the sides of the bottom, this is a classic style that is sure to work for years to come.
- Solid & Striped The Kaia Bikini: The ruffle details on this bikini add a gorgeous and subtle feminine flair. A beautiful swimsuit for this year! Heads up, a review says the ivory color is more of a true yellow in person, so if you order this, keep that in mind.
- Beach Week Renn Bikini: I love this classic and retro-looking bikini. It’s simple in silhouette providing a perfect amount of coverage and holds you in so you can have fun on the beach without worrying about a slip!
