Get ready with me today for a day at home with the kids. Today, I decided on a super simple makeup look but still wanted to feel like I was ready for anything.

Today I was able to take a little more time to do my makeup. My youngest (6 months old) was napping and my oldest (4 years old) was watching Bluey, so she was occupied for a little. My 6 month old has not been having an easy time napping independently, so when I do get a few moments when she is not contact napping, I make sure to take advantage of it! In true stay at home mom form, my shirt is covered in spit up in the video. Not my best outfit moment, but it’s reality!
If you missed my original GRWM: SAHM Edition video you can find that here.
Keep reading for details on all makeup products I used.
All of the items I used in the video are linked below in the order they are used.
- Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour – I used this as a bronzing contour. I really like this product, but it does require quite a bit of blending because it is pretty sticky.
- Shape Tape – I used this under my eyes for an extra bit of help with my dark circles (hello, tired eyes!)
- Flawless Filter – I used this as an all-over concealer. I used this after the contour because I did not want an overly-contoured look since I was going for a casual look today.
- Huda Beauty – This setting powder is great. I used it under my eyes.
- Blending Puffs – Great to use with the setting powder.
- Elf Eyebrow Pencil – My go-to brow pencil, and only three dollars!
- Eyelash Curler – A must when you have absolutely no curl to your eyelashes like me, haha!
- Maneater Mascara – My everyday black mascara.
- Vaseline All-Over Body Balm Stick – I have been using vaseline on my lips for years now. It keeps my lips moisturized, doesn’t add any color, and doesn’t make my lips hurt when it wears off (if you are addicted to chapstick, you know what I’m talking about). I generally was just using the tubs of vaseline and carrying it with me and applying with my fingertip. Well, when I ran out a few months ago, I saw these vaseline sticks online and I had to try them. Well, fast forward a few months and I am in love with these! They came in a pack of three, so I have one in my Lululemon Belt Bag that I carry with me every day, one next to my bed to use if my lips are dry at night, and one in my bathroom to use whenever my lips feel chapped throughout the day. It says you can also you these on dry skin or dry feet, but I haven’t tried that as these are strictly used for my lips. Either way, a great product!
