Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! This is such a wonderful holiday for kids. It’s so exciting because there’s so much joy around a day celebrating the ones you love! I have found Valentine’s Day to be one of my favorite holidays to celebrate with my daughter because it is so easy to keep it simple and fun. I love to get her a little gift basket with a few fun and small items. Today I have rounded up my favorite picks for gifts for kids for Valentine’s Day!
1. Bingo
One of the best items I have found to put in a Valentine’s Day gift for kids is a family game and my favorite is Bingo! It’s useful, small, and a great way for your family to spend quality time together on the holiday. Last year, I gave my daughter a Valentine’s Day Bingo game. You can find the one we have here. This game is easy to play and fun for kids!
2. Toys
There are so many toys out there. You can just choose any small toy that your child will love! I try to keep the toy small and something that my daughter will play with because otherwise toys just accumulate and clutter up our house! You can find the toys I am putting in her basket this year here.
3. Bath Bombs
This is such a fun gift and has become a common thing I give my daughter when holidays come up. She loves bath bombs and they make the bath so much more fun for her! These are great Valentine’s Day themed bath bombs.
4. Book
This is one of my favorite things to get my daughter as a gift. She loves her bedtime story (so do I!) and getting new books is so exciting for her. We love adding to her home library, so any holiday is a great excuse to buy more books! Last year we got her this book, and this year will be getting this one! This I Spy Valentine’s Day book is also a great option!
5. Chocolate
As a super small treat I always include chocolates for my daughter. Nothing makes her happier than a sweet, so it is always an exciting day when she gets chocolate! My favorites for Valentine’s Day are always heart shaped. This year, I’ll be getting my daughter these adorable Mickey Mouse chocolates!
6. Basket
The last item I always get is a fun Valentine’s Day themed bucket or basket to put the gifts in! I found a super fun heart shaped one on Amazon here. I always reuse these baskets after the holiday to store toys, craft items, or other small items.
